Flocculant For ETP has a high molecular weight, cationic dry flocculent, which is used to improve fiber and ash retention in papermaking. It has a synergistic effect in combination with other additives like coagulants and fixation aids. The powder is dissolved in water to a 0.3 -0.5% stock solution, which is diluted to about a tenth of its original concentration before dosage to the paper machine. To achieve maximum efficiency, dosing is recommended after the pressure screens, where the flocks are submitted to a minimum of shearing force for ETP. Flocculant For ETP meets the regulations of FDA for use in manufacturing of paper and board in contact with food.
